bon bons and pedicures

I am taking a vacation.
I don't have any time accrued because my job as a mom doesn't have vacation perks.
BUT
My job as a foster mom does. Sorta. If I can find other foster homes willing to take my children for spring break I can have spring break off. Fools. It took me 3 days :D
9 days of a clean house and no phone calls or doc appts or damage control or anything that involves anyone else but me. 9 days. I have been a mom for 28 years now. All of my adult life, and I'm so damn happy about 9 days. I can go on a road trip or eat chocolate cake for dinner or sleep all day and stay up all night by choice :)
I refuse to feel guilt. dammit. I refuse.
